PaintingLens is a mobile app for correcting photos of paintings. It helps you detect artwork edges, correct perspective, adjust the crop, and save or share the result. This policy explains what data PaintingLens handles and how.

Summary
PaintingLens:
- does not create or require a user account
- does not include advertising SDKs
- does not include third-party analytics or crash reporting SDKs
- does not upload your painting photos to our own servers for processing
The core editing flow runs on your device.
Information and permissions the app accesses
PaintingLens may access:
- Camera - to let you photograph a painting.
- Photo library (read) - to let you import an existing image.
- Photo library (save / add) - to let you save the corrected image back to your device.
- Local app preferences - for on-device settings such as the last selected ratio or similar interface state.
These permissions are requested only when needed. If you deny a permission, the related feature will not work, but the rest of the app remains available.
Photos and images
- Your painting photos are processed on your device.
- We do not upload your painting photos to our own servers for editing or storage.
- If you tap Save, the corrected image is saved to your device's photo library.
- If you tap Share or choose to open an external Manywalls page, the destination app or service will handle that action under its own terms and privacy practices.
Network activity
In the current store build, PaintingLens is designed to run its core flow without background network requests for photo editing, preview textures, analytics, or over-the-air updates.
Network activity can still happen when you choose to use an external destination, for example:
- opening the public privacy policy
- opening an App Store, Play Store, or Manywalls page from the app
- using your device's share features, depending on the destination you choose
When you use those external destinations, the destination app, browser, store, or service may receive technical information such as your IP address, device information, request metadata, or the shared file, under that destination's own terms and privacy practices. We do not use PaintingLens to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We may use service providers to support the app, such as:
- hosting providers that serve the public website and privacy policy
- email providers, if you contact us
These providers may process limited data on our behalf for hosting, delivery, security, and support.
If you contact us
If you email us for support or privacy questions, we will receive your email address and any other information you include in your message.
Retention and deletion
- We do not keep your painting photos on our servers.
- Images saved from PaintingLens remain in your device photo library until you delete them.
- Local app preferences remain on your device until you clear the app data or remove the app, subject to your device behavior.
- Limited technical logs created by our services or service providers may be retained for security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and service operations for as long as reasonably necessary under their retention practices.
- If you contact us, we may keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to respond, follow up, and keep basic business records.
Because PaintingLens does not provide user accounts or store painting photos on our servers, there is no in-app account deletion workflow. You can delete saved images directly from your device. For privacy requests, contact us at the address below.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the limited data involved in operating the app. Photo editing itself happens locally on your device. Network requests are intended to use secure transport where supported by the relevant service providers.
Children
PaintingLens is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through its core app flow. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support or privacy inquiry, contact us and we will review the request.
Changes
We may update this policy if the app's behavior changes. Material changes will be communicated through an app update.
